SOUTHERN ILLINOIS SPORTS FEST

JUDO TOURNAMENT

DATE: Saturday, July 23

LOCATION: Bowen Gym, 880 West High Street, Carbondale, Illinois.

REGISTRATION: Registration will begin at 9:00 a.m. Competition will begin starting

with juniors followed by senior divisions. There will be one full size competition area and

warm up area. Every attempt will be made to start promptly at 10:30 a.m.

ELIGABILITY: All competitors must be a current member of either USJA, JSJI, or USJF. (Registrations will be available at the door).

COMPETITION: Shiai competition for Junior and Senior male and female. Masters and open division will be available if a sufficient number of competitors are present.

DIVISIONS: Weight divisions will be as close as possible to established IJF categories. The tournament director reserves right to alter categories to achieve equity and fairness.

RULES: Modified double elimination will be used.

AWARDS: Awards will be presented for 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd place in each division.

ENTRY FEE: $20.00 for each competitor, $5.00 for each additional event.
