A Big Fat Congratulations To the coaching Staff of our Juniors program for the Club's nearly unprecedented showing in this past weekends St. Louis Open Judo tournament. For the first time in well over a decade the Kirkwood Judo club entered 8 Junior competitors into the competition with many of them winning matches, and taking home trophies in the grand Kirkwood Judo Club tradition. However more important than the wins and losses, we proudly salute the efforts of Juniors Program Head Coach Sensei Steve Palmer, and assistant coaches Senseis Roland Morgan, and David Hertweck for their fine job encourage participation in the event. After all, win or loose, there is something valuable to be gained by being On The Mat. Full Details and some pictures will be up on the web site just as soon as the information is forwarded to me.
